Wireless Local Area Network Infrastructure
802.11 (Wireless) standards are no longer considered to be immature standards lacking security and manageability. Quite the contrary wireless has evolved into an enterprise grade infrastructure technology, capable of operating at the same level of efficiency as a wired network once you know how to design and configure it properly. Don’t believe the other Information Technology providers who say “wireless is insecure”. It can be secured providing they know how to configure it and what hardware to purchase. Below are the hardware solutions we offer. Wireless -N solutions are avaliable on request. Contact Us

3Com Unified Gigabit Wireless PoE Switch 24

The new 3Com Unified Gigabit Wireless PoE Switch 24 combines Gigabit Switching, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and Wireless Controller in a single rack-mount or table-top form factor design. This new unified switch provides small to medium businesses with between 20 and 250 employees, with a robust, single box foundation for their network infrastructure needs.

3Com Wireless Bridges

The 3Com® 54 Mbps Wireless LAN Building-to-Building Bridge family provides bridged WiFi links across building complexes, enterprise campuses and metropolitan areas. Wireless outdoor bridges can connect intra-building LANs which are up to 10 miles (17 kilometers) apart, while indoor bridges enable network connections between adjacent buildings and out to open areas such as atriums and storage yards. The 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Workgroup Bridge extends network functionality, enabling laptop or PC users without built-in wireless capability to connect to a wireless LAN.

3Com Wireless PC Cards, Adapters, and Accessories

Universal, high-speed wireless networking is affordable and practical with the 3Com(R) Wireless 11a/b/g PCI Card. WiFi Certified to 802.11a, 11b, and 11g so you can connect to regardless of the wireless environment you're in. WPA/WPA2. WEP and 128-bit AES encryption for maximum protection available. WiFi Multmedia Certified to support delay sensitive applications.

3Com Wireless Access Points

Cost–effective wireless networking takes on new sophistication with the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 3Com® Wireless 8760 Dual Radio 11a/b/g PoE Access Point. Power over Ethernet (PoE) with VLANs, multiple SSIDs, WDS, and Rogue AP detection bring enterprise-class features to small and medium networks. Dual radios offer both 802.11a and 802.11b/g simultaneously. Tough 802.1X and WPA2 with TKIP/AES encryption securely extends access to business-critical applications and information.

Linksys Wireless Access Points

The Access Point uses the very latest wireless networking technology, Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-N's “Multiple In, Multiple Out” (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce “dead spots” in the wireless coverage area

Linksys Wireless Bridges

The versatile Wireless-G Ethernet Bridge can make any wired Ethernet-equipped device a part of your wireless network. At home, use the Bridge to connect game consoles, set-top boxes, or computers to your Wireless-G network and its shared high-speed Internet connection. In the office, convert your Ethernet-wired printer, scanner, camera, notebook or desktop into a wireless networked device.

Linksys Wireless Routers

The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is really three devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect Wireless-G or Wireless-B devices to the network. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices. Connect four PCs directly, or daisy-chain out to more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Finally, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection, files, and other resources such as printers and hard disk storage space.

Linksys Wireless Range Extender

Expand the range of your wireless network! The Linksys Wireless-G Range Expander is the easy way to increase the effective coverage of your wireless network.
Unlike adding a traditional access point to your network to expand wireless coverage, the Wireless-G Range Expander does not need to be connected to the network by a data cable. Just put it within range of your main access point or wireless router, and it "bounces" the signals out to remote wireless devices.

This "relay station" or "repeater" approach saves wiring costs and helps to build wireless infrastructure by driving signals into even those distant, reflective corners and hard-to-reach areas where wireless coverage is spotty and cabling is impractical. The Range Expander is perfect to help cover large areas in multi-story homes, warehouse environments, public spaces, and wireless "Hot Spots" -- anywhere you need extra coverage for your wireless network.

Linksys Wireless NICs

The Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter installs in most desktops and lets you put your computer almost anywhere in the building, without the cost and hassle of running network cables. Now you don't have to drill holes in your walls and climb through the attic or cellar to get connected to the network. Once you're connected, you can keep in touch with your e-mail, access the Internet, use instant messaging to chat with friends, and share files and other resources such as printers and network storage with other computers on the network.
The Wireless-G PCI Adapter connects you with Wireless-G networks at an incredible 54Mbps! And for added versatility, it can also interoperate with all the 11Mbps Wireless-B (802.11b) products found in homes, businesses, and public wireless hotspots around the country. And in either mode, your wireless communications are protected by industrial-strength Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), so your data stays secure.
